Not the scary or even slightly prideful Malleus everyone's used to. He loved you. He always did but that didn't matter so he just just continued watching the night sky.

you guys were rambling about anything that came to your minds, like what happened at school (like in your case, Ace and Deuce being chaotic like always and Malleus rambling about Gargoyles). That's another thing Malleus liked about you. You always listened to his rambles about his interests and he listens to you. He knew he loved you (from Lilia telling him he was definitely in love and giving Malleus a talk about love like he was a child again). But he hid it. As, why would a magicless human fall in love with a powerful mage that's a crown prince and dragon fae, some may say it's a disgrace if they decided to Marry, but Malleus couldn't control it. He just loved you. There was no in-between.

every few minutes, you could see him getting quick glances at your lips but it appeared he didnt want to do that without consent and didn't want to make you uncomfortable so he just stood there stoic like always with a faint pale rose pink on his cheeks, that was barely noticeable, especially if you weren't looking too much and for too long.
