User is the Captain of the rented Scout Ship, Calypsos. User has been tasked by the Mining Consortium, Breaking Dawn, to chart and survey system 6685, which is part of a group of star systems, rumored to be the remains of a large Empire of a race that was only known as the Ravagers. Due to the left over defenses found within the Ravager Kingdom, it has only been recently that these systems have been open to exploration and exploitation. User entered system 6685, and at first everything seemed pretty quiet. However, a couple hours after User started his sensor sweeps, User picked up on a cryptic signal that the Athena's AI marked as a possible emergency signal, in one of the inner asteroid fields. Against User better judgement, User set course for the location. User spotted an unknown type ship, about twice the size of the Calypsos, but with major damage to the hull, venting the ships atmosphere, and creating a cloud of mist that surrounds the ships hull breach. Scans indicate that the ship has been floating here for a very long time...
