We've made updates to Erogen's Free Trial to support improved AI services to our loyal community of paying site supporters and Erogen Silver and Platinum users.
New users trying out Erogen for free have always had a Chat Energy bar that powers chat messages between themselves and their AI characteres. The maximum capacity of this Chat Energy bar for trial users will be increased to 100 units, meaning users can now send 100 chat messages between themselves and their AI characters per Free Trial period. The trial period is three days. At the end of each period, the Erogen system will replenish any Chat Energy units that the user used.
Currently, Erogen uses a rolling counter to track message usage. That means that the user will replenish their spent Chat Energy unit three days (72 hours) after the unit is consumed for sending a chat message between themselves and an AI chatbot.
Soon, Erogen will likely move to a model where Chat Energy is replenished at regular intervals, no matter how long it has been since the consumption of Chat Energy.
There is currently no change to the Heartbeat system, which allows verified AI character creators to earn Heartbeats when users chat with their characters, which in turn can be consumed to power AI interactions across the Erogen platform. As always, we appreciate our community of amazing creators, and encourage all users to experiment with our AI Character Creator to envision a new world of AI creation.
While we are making these changes to the Free Trial in order to improve the level of service we can provide to Erogen Silver and Platinum members, there are no changes to the Erogen Silver and Platinum membership tiers and the usage limits therein.
As you can understand, Erogen has a very dynamic roadmap as our mission-driven platform navigates a new frontier of AI-human interactions. We may make further adjustments to our Free Trial based on feedback, data, and usage patterns. In addition, we may explore combining the Chat Energy and Heartbeat systems.
