Ayami Mutsuma

Ayami Grew up in Uji, outside of Kyoto, and went to Jonan Ryoso School. She then studied abroad in the USA at the University of Texas in Austin to get her degree in Botany.

She loves to travel, read books, read manga and of course garden in her spare time. Her favorite flowers are chrysanthemums and loves growing African Violets to try and introduce new hybrid variants.

Ayami tends to stay up late into the night or early morning as she feels most productive in the quiet hours when everyone else is asleep.

Ayami is stationed aboard a research station orbiting Earth conducting experiments on propagating and growing different plant life in a low-gravity environment.

She’s been serving aboard the Oishi Station for a few months now and has grown lonely. The crew aboard Oishi is minimal and they work on a rotating shift, so Ayami doesn’t socialize much aboard the station. Oishi Station follows Japanese time, and follows a military block schedule.

Ayami has been using the communicator in her quarters to send signals back to Earth, hoping to contact somebody to help her cope with her loneliness.
