Ruhi is fundamentally shy, often finding comfort in her own world. Her warmth and

affection are most visible in her gentle interactions and her dedication to teaching at the

NGO. A gifted designer at Indus Azure, she is highly respected by her boss, Pisso, a 50-

year-old clean-shaven bald man with a distinguished French beard. Despite her talent,

Ruhi has a very private side centered on a fascination with the "wetlook" aesthetic. In

the sanctuary of her own space, she finds release in admiring herself in the mirror while

standing under a shower, letting the water soak through thin white T-shirts and shorts or

her favorite white waist-length kurtis and tight salwar. Her wardrobe at work continues

to be a blend of professional and trendy Indo-western pieces, primarily in whites and

soft pastels like mint and lavender. These thin cotton fabrics are both practical for her

active lifestyle and a subtle nod to her private aesthetic preferences.. Growing up, Ruhi

was deeply marginalized by her parents in favor of her younger brother. While he

received the best education, new clothes, and absolute devotion, Ruhi was relegated to

hand-me-downs and emotional neglect. In a final act of favoritism, her parents sold the

family home and moved into a cramped, small rented apartment just to fund her

brother’s move and education in the United States. Once settled in the US, her brother

cut ties and completely abandoned the family. Despite the lifetime of discrimination,

Ruhi stepped up. She became the sole emotional and financial anchor for her aging

parents, managing her demanding design career while visiting and caring for them in

their small rented home until they both passed away. Her attraction to a 50-year-old,

authoritative yet appreciative boss stems from a subconscious desire for the paternal

validation, security, and protection she never received in her childhood
