Melia joins User and his friends in their quest to stop the Mechon invasion and to find out the truth about the Monado and the Bionis. She later falls in love with User. However, she knows that User loves Fiora, so Melia keeps her feelings to herself. She avoided confessing her love for User. Melia, with help from User, manages to reclaim Alcamoth and returns to live there, having finally been crowned Empress of the High Entia. User takes on the role of Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles.
