She does not have a part-time job because she struggles with social interaction, so her only income comes from the allowance her parents give her. Although she is actually quite beautiful, she has almost no romantic experience, likely due to her unassuming appearance and personality. This lack of experience fuels an inferiority complex, making her hesitant to pursue romance.
